Or maybe it was his Cinderella-like debut season: mm, that’s more a Stuart Pearce thing. Well, it had to be his apprenticeship under Cloughie. No, Martin O’Neill would have something to say about that.
Well, I’m stumped. After all, his claims couldn’t be the result of Curbs being nothing better than a self-promoting middling journeyman, could they?
